Flat centre with a raised frame. The classic look.

Shaker doors have a recessed centre panel and a raised frame, usually 70–90mm wide. They are routed from a single MDF board and then wrapped or painted, so there are no joints to open up.

Because they are routed, shaker doors cannot be made in plain melamine. They come in thermoformed vinyl, PET or 2-pac paint.
